Dog Days of Summer

Happy Wednesday! It’s time for another Card Concept Inspiration Challenge!

My family and I have been camping so much this summer! It’s been wonderfully relaxing and fun! I love the campfire and playing at the beach all day! It has been an amazing summer so far and I am grateful for every moment! Oh those awesome summer days!

This week we are featuring those Dog Days of Summer with this adorable image! Isn’t it’s so cute! Julie picks the best inspiration photos!

I used an adorable SugarPea Designs stamp set called “Hot Diggity Dog”. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and I also used some of the bone and paw print stamps to create a cute background for the card.

We sure hope you will join us at The Card Concept!

Card Concept & CAS(E) this Sketch

Another challenge over at The Card Concept! I’ll admit, I struggled with this challenge. I’m not very good with Tropical flowers and plants! Hahaha! So I decided to ink up one of my favourite Reverse Confetti stamp sets! I was inspired to make my bestie a “pretty in pink” birthday card!

I used the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch for my layout! It was challenging! I loved it! Please forgive my photos! I’m blogging from my iPhone as my computer is long gone! Must buy a new one soon! I was inspired by the colours and the party theme!

The links won’t go into my post tonight! I’ll try again in the morning!

Case this Sketch #378-With Sympathy

Happy Weekend!

My mom asked me to make some Sympathy Cards and I thought the sketch at Case this Sketch this week looked perfect for what I had in mind. I used one of my favourite Verve Stamp sets called “Beautiful Things” and coloured the flower with my Copic markers. I let the pattern paper help me to design the colours.

Can’t Wait to “Sea” You!

Hi friends! I am absolutely delighted to be designing cards once again with the talented team over at The Card Concept. I went with a clean and layered look for my card this week and pulled out an old Stampin’ Up set that I haven’t inked up in quite some time! As you can see, I was inspired by the colours and the nautical themed to make a simple “Missing You” card!

Once again, I am playing along with the awesome sketch over at CASE this Sketch. Thank you so
Much for that team for the shout out last week! I wasn’t expecting that and it really made my day!

The Card Concept #137 -Cream in My Coffee

Hi everyone!

I am back from a very long stamping/blogging hiatus! I asked my pals over at The Card Concept (one of my old challenges) if I could join them for the summer! They graciously welcomed me back and so here I am, blogging once again and trying my best to get crafty more often!

I left blogging in 2017/2018 because I had a baby! She is 3 years old now and much more independent which means more hobby time for me! Yay! So here I go!

When I saw this challenge inspiration, I was immediately drawn to the masculine colours and the coffee cups! My sweet hubby makes the yummiest coffee, and so I decided to go with a Father’s Day Card! I stamped up a Jane’s Doodles stamp and coloured the images with my Copics. The mug was stamped and masked and stamped some more to replicated the mugs on the dock. I decided to do more of a clean card and I used the CAS(E) this Sketch as a jumping off point!

Come and join us at The Card Concept

Keeping Christmas {Inspiration Hop}

I'm crafting and posting on my blog this week! Yippee! Today I am part of the "Keeping Christmas" blog hop that originated on Kelly's blog. I am a huge fan of Kelly and I am delighted to be a part of the hop because I am also a huge fan of Christmas cards!

Recently my little girl turned 10 months old...gulp! How did that happen?

She is now sleeping through the night...for the most part. It's a miracle but I miss those sweet mid-night snuggles.

With more sleep, comes the need to be creative again. I am starting small, but I am so happy to have set up a makeshift craft space in our bedroom.

I lost my craft room to the renovation we are doing on our house, so I have to make do with the little apartment we are living in. It's cozy and brand spanking new...but it is small. My desk is now in our bedroom and I have brought up only my favourite crafting supplies...it's perfect

So I whipped up this card in my new space, with my new found energy! A watercoloured retired Stampin' Up poinsettia image with a retired My Favorite Things Christmas sentiment set. I watercoloured the poinsettia with my Zig Markers and a water pen. Easy peasy.

Clean lines, easy to mass produce and fun to make!

Please be sure to check out the wonderful work of my bloggy friends. They really know how to make Christmas shine!! Here is a list of their names and if your click on their name, it will take you to their blog post.

So hop along and be sure to visit each blog.
There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!
